Get Permission: Ask the landowner or venue operator for written permission before placing any cache. Use only approved, visible spots beside a safe public path and do not enter restricted or private areas.

Pack Safely
Pack Safely: Keep each course in a sealed cooler box with enough ice or ice packs for the full outing. Label every ingredient, allergen, use-by time and storage instruction; do not include alcohol unless it is lawful for everyone at the venue and participants are of legal age.

Follow the Course
Follow the Course: Solve the first clue at the entrance, follow the agreed off-path-free route to the second cache, then finish at the approved sunset stop. Turn back for poor weather, fatigue or any path concern.

Retrieve Everything: Return all boxes, clues, packaging and any food left uneaten to the organiser. Never leave food for wildlife or rely on finding a cache later.
